The NepCERT constituency is the Nepalese Cyber-community.
Mission ::::
· To promote the overall cause of information security in Nepal.
· To provide a single point of contact for reporting local problems
· To assist the organizational constituency and general computing
community for the effective prevention, detection, and recovery from
computer security incidents
· To provide a means for the communication of alert and advisory
information on potential threats and emerging incident situations;
· To promote the sharing of computer security information, tools,
and techniques
· To assist members in implementing proactive measures to reduce the
risks of computer security incidents
· To provide professional security services including recovery
procedures, artifact analysis, incident tracing, risk analysis
information security audits etc. to harden networks from intruder
attacks.
· To conduct training, research and development.
· To enhance international cooperation to assert the security of the
Nepalese networking community. |
